Our mission is to support professionals and other interested individuals in learning and embodying the Mindful Awareness Perspective (MAP), sharing it with others, building a community rooted in healing presence, and advancing the evidence base for its impact in both personal and professional life.

Offerings from the Mindful Awareness Institute

  • Intro Sessions & Masterclasses

Short online sessions, live or recorded, that introduce the Mindful Awareness Perspective™ and the 4+2 path in a direct, practical way.
These are low-barrier starting points—ideal if you’re curious, cautious, or simply busy and want to get a felt sense of what this approach is about.

  • Courses & Ongoing Programs

Structured courses that walk the journey from the land of habits and conditioning (Hacklandia) toward a shift in perspective, using the 4+2 path of awareness and realization.

These programs support integrating mindful awareness into everyday life—clinical work, teaching, relationships, and ordinary routines—rather than keeping it as a separate “practice” on the side.

  • Learn to Teach the MAP

Training pathways for those who feel called to bring the Mindful Awareness Perspective™ into their own professional, client, patient or community context.

These offerings focus on learning the MAP, embodying it, and then learning how to present it clearly and responsibly to others in language that fits your field.

  • Gatherings, Conferences & Community

Online and in-person gatherings, workshops, and conferences that create a context for ongoing learning, reflection, and shared exploration of awareness. while earning continuing education credits.

These spaces are not self-help clubs, but communities of practice where people compare notes, ask hard questions, and support one another in living from mindful awareness in the midst of real-world demands.

  • Research, Evaluation & "n of 1" awareness self research

For those who want to know whether this actually works, the Institute offers ways to participate in evaluation and research—ranging from tools that empower you to be your own awareness researcher (the n of 1 protocol) to more formal projects.

This is where practice and inquiry meet, allowing us to look closely at how the Mindful Awareness Perspective™ shows up in real professional and personal settings.
