The map to the MAP

The Mindful Awareness Perspective (MAP) is a way of seeing as present-moment awareness rather than from the land of habits and conditioning and fixed knowledge. The map shows how following the inner compass along the 4+2 Path of awareness (breath, body, thoughts, and emotions, plus awareness-of-awareness and the unity of all beings) opens a shift into the Mindful Awareness Perspective, where the essences of being human -love, peace, joy, and compassion- become directly available. At the Mindful Awareness Institute, we teach this journey, train others to teach it, carefully evaluate how well the methods work, and foster an ongoing community exploring awareness together.
